Hammered, nailed, dead and risen!

Whenever we think about our Lord in these hollydays the image of the suffering servant fades away, looks like the newborn Lord will never have to grow up like the rest of normal children and go to the cross atop the calvary. Usually Christmas turns to be a time when happiness overflows streets, homes or wherever people roams, and sadly there are some places where you won't ever see any smile: either a funeral home or a hospital... the list is really long and If you feel good today what I am looking for is to make out your day gray and sad.
Perhaps turning Christmas in a depressive time is not the best thing you could ever do nor forcing yourself to smile when what you really wish to let your tears flow out, however what you must keep in mind is that one day almost 2000 years ago the defenseless baby Jesus that we remember in these days, grown up the holiest living man, was hammered and nailed to death on a wooden cross, his ribs were pierced but he is not dead anymore, God himself risen him from the grave, so, if you feel like your pain is puts you on your knees, remember that Jesus carried the sins of whole mankind and he suffered the punishment that all of us should have had, whatever is your problem surely HE will open His hears and help you out.
